Royal blue and light grey is a color combination that keeps coming up over and over in kimono coordinations. Light green as a point color is a unique addition. Often you see light pink or yellow with blue and grey, but the lack of warm colors in this set makes it cooling and soft.

I cannot keep myself from posting kimono stuff on tumblr anymore, so here it comes.
I absolutely love kimononagoya blog as some very useful tips and perfect notes on colors and patterns are there plus I can just keep browsing the blog if I have nothing to do. :)
One of the examples is just above. ;)

Summer

Summer holiday has started… with a rainy day.

It’s not that bad, though. At least for me. I’m busy at home anyway… This place needs cleaning, my new computer (yes, new, finally found myself reaching some kind of a material goal!) takes lots of time too and I didn’t even watch Tsuritama yesterday. I got used to watching it on Fridays as I had to be an early sleeper but I went on working after Sakamich yesterday.

I know I haven’t been posting for long and that those posts are just boring now. I guess I used to have a way more interesting life back when I was posting more frequently. :)

Anyway, I hope I can get back into shape. :)

Well, all for now. See you. ;) Going to work and then Japanese studies are waiting behind the corner.

Have a nice weekend everyone! Thank you for reading to this sentence.

What if you take one step to much?

A step too far… What do you do? Do you go any further or try to go back just to realise there’s no turning back?

The hill behind sunset

It’s just because the sun is setting.

I’m extremely excited about this week’s episode… It’s what I was waiting for since I heard the melody for the first time.

I’m playing the piano this summer. That’s for sure!

Did I ever tell you…

I love kimono? Really. Furisode are just too good to be truth but no… They are truth! And Fukuro obi are too beautiful to exist on this world but no… They do exist!

And putting a kimono is difficult as hell but gosh how good it looks!

Too much love to write more!

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?

My notebook. Sadly, the paper one.

I love it how you can feel the classic influence in Kaoru’s playing…

It’s just for a tiny bit, he jumps in almost perfectly right after but it’s still fun. :)
